Our experience with Robert Garza was wonderful. He worked with my husband (a home builder) and me to build our dream home in East Ft. Lauderdale. Robert is very thorough, organized, level headed, budget conscience, and accessible. His employees were also very reliable and great with communication. Most of his subs did a very good job and were tidy in my home. He was able to solve problems if they occurred and had other sub contractors to fill in if necessary. Building my home entirely during Covid had it’s own challenges but Garza Contractors along with the experience of my husband made it seem easy! By the end of the job, we all felt like family! Since completion Robert has always been responsive and there for any follow-up , question or last fix and we would recommend Garza contractors without any hesitation to anybody, especially for demanding clients like us…

Honesty, integrity and reliability. These are three of the most important things I look for when shopping for a contactor and this is what I found in Robert Garza. After leaving a voicemail for him the very first time I contacted him (on a weekend no less), he returned my call within 15 minutes. It was at that point that I knew Robert was someone who was serious about his work and who would follow through. Throughout the project, Robert was responsive, reliable and always accessible.
Quality is also clearly a factor in any renovation or building product. Robert stands by his work. Anything that may not meet up to his or your standards (and his are pretty high) is remediated promptly. Robert’s accounting is thorough, clear and accurate. He will give you options based on cost and explains the advantages and disadvantages of each option.
Timeliness is also something that Robert understands. He can often have someone come the same day a specific project is requested. For example, we needed a new shower glass door for guests arriving that evening. Robert had it done before their plane touched down. Robert is also a living Rolodex. He has contacts for anything. Ask him for an exterminator recommendation – done, a locksmith – done, a good Italian restaurant – done.
Robert is also very personable. In addition to being the ultimate professional, helping create the dream home we envisioned, he and his wife have become friends.
In summary, you cannot go wrong with choosing Robert Garza as your contractor, your project advisor or your friend. He will not disappoint.

Garza Construction recently finished building our outdoor bar and cabana. We actually hired Robert right off of Houzz. I really liked the information I saw on Houzz and submitted my plans to Robert. He called the next morning and we met later that afternoon. I was really impressed how much time Robert had spent reviewing and learning about our project. Absolutely first class organization. Clear on what would happen step by step on our construction project and then delivered . Change is inevitable on construction projects. I have done my fair share of them over the years and there is usually always something that comes up unexpectedly. No real surprises… just here are the options and which one would you like us to do.
